About Me

In 2010, a year of great satisfaction, I ranked 1st in the "un gesti d'amore" competition organized by L.I.S.M. – Italian Multiple Sclerosis League and I am exhibited at the PHOTOSHOW 2010 at the Rome fair.

Also in 2010 I published my first photographic book "Wandering For Malaysia & Singapore" the result of a careful study on the culture and landscapes of a unique and wonderful land like Malaysia and Singapore, as well as an unforgettable journey in contact with the people of these magical lands.

The theme of travel returns in 2011, with my participation in the international photography competition The Travel Photographer Of The Year, where I was a finalist in the "New Talent" category with the images from the Varanasi - One Day On The Ganges collection, and with a nomination at the Black & White Spider Awards competition on Black and White photography.

In 2012, with a reportage that documented the close relationship between men and places, I ranked 2nd in the "Cultures and Identities" photography competition in the city of Treviglio and with great satisfaction I was awarded in front of an audience of experts.

In 2015 I joined the large family of ANFM (National Association of Wedding Photographers) with the qualification of SELECTED, which unites many of the best wedding photographers from all over Italy.

From that moment I dedicated myself almost obsessively to the world of weddings, couples and families, working with clients from all over the world.

For some time now I have also returned to dealing with Travel Photography and specifically, I organize traveling workshops around the world.

This has always been my biggest dream and finally in February 2018 it became reality.

I had the role of Master in a mystical and unforgettable journey called "Ganga River" which saw me teaching reportage photography in India following the sacred river almost from its sources to Varanasi, a city of absolute importance for the Hindu religion.

This project born and grown with the extraordinary collaboration of Mark and Stefania of born2travel.it has had a very strong impact on the Travel world being my first travel photography Whorkshop where all participants live 24 hours a day with the Master and the Tour Leader.

It was the first time for me, but as an expert/master I really felt comfortable with it.

Experiencing different cultures and being able to photograph them without causing too much trouble I think is anyone's dream and then teaching and transmitting a little of my knowledge and experience to those who want to approach the world of photographic reportage,

or even just to those who want to bring home some important shots from every trip, it is a source of extreme satisfaction for me.

I love photographing people because a truly "intimate" relationship is established between me and the subject.

Before photographing someone, this someone must give you permission, they must accept you, it's a bit as if they had to open the door to their ego and let you in, otherwise you wouldn't get anything.

I consider this the greatest fortune, as well as a great privilege of my work but it also represents a great responsibility.
Whatever situation is photographed, it will have a very strong impact on those who look at it through my eyes. I feel I have an exceptional tool in my hands and I feel more and more the need to use it for the benefit of the weakest.
For the rest, I just turned 43 but I feel like I'm twenty, I consider myself very lucky to have a wonderful family...
My partner Anna always supports my ideas and by helping me with my work, she has become passionate about it and now shoots any situation with an excellent vision.
We have two spectacular children, who are our whole life, Gaia, 9 years old and Elia, 5 years old.
I am a vegetarian and an avid sportsman, I am a super passionate runner and the mountain bike is always ready, I play five-a-side football and practice barefooting... all in the heart of Monferrato, an authentic Eden in the middle of Piedmont.
Now I've told you everything, tell me a little about yourself!
