You can’t talk about Destination Wedding without talking about Calabria, a region too often forgotten by normal tourist flows and remembered only because of the problems that afflict it. In this region I found first of all the human warmth of its people, but this can be considered typical of all southern Italy while here in Calabria is different, you become an official member of the family or families that host you, I was welcomed as a son or brother every time I came to work in Calabria.
Getting married in Calabria has a thousand other reasons or valid reasons, from luxury locations to Mediterranean landscapes suspended between the mountains and the sea, history, churches and landscapes that go to the limit between the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea, the extremely favorable climate throughout the year and still the food and wines intoxicating but I fell in love with the people, the warmth they reserve for any stranger. If you decide to get married in Calabria you will see for yourself, the only problem is that you will never want to go home again.
The first time I worked in this wonderful land what is Calabria was winter, precisely on December 23rd and I remember how the climate was still pleasant and mild. The location on that occasion was the wonderful Tenuta Klopè from which you could admire a breathtaking view of the sea. The second time was June 29th of this year, a very special year because of the pandemic. The guys strongly wanted to get married against all odds and the decision was more than opportune because everything was incredibly perfect, from the very elegant location Tenuta delle Grazie to the serenade the night before, from the preparations to the civil rite in the morning to the ancient olive trees of Curinga.
In Calabria, you can get married quietly throughout the year and the sensations are always the same, the strong participation and involvement of friends and relatives will join the folklore of the place and everything together will make a pure fairytale your wedding in Calabria, whether you are local or you come for the first time. I have always brought in the heart of the beautiful memories of my work experiences in Calabria and I hope to have also left, here below the reviews of two couples, which will make you better understand the relationship that is established between me and customers in this wonderful land. Valentina & Francesco – Riccardo and Anna got into it. Recommended for their skills we found ourselves in front of people with a big heart and a way of doing so pleasant that we wanted them immediately to our wedding stealing them for a few days from Piedmont and catapulting them to Calabria. Never was a better choice. The professionalism and quality of their photos, however, does not show the serene and cheerful atmosphere that hides in the backstage. This allowed us to have fun and not feel any embarrassment all the time. Highly recommended.
Alessia & Cristian – You know, wedding day is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle in a couple’s life. You also know that time passes quickly and tends to fade memories, fade them, sometimes erase them. Thanks to Riccardo all this will not happen to us because we entrusted him with the task of taking snapshots of the most important moments. For the choice of photographer, you have to juggle between charlatans and presumed professionals, but the most difficult thing is to choose between real professionals, and there are many of them. We came across Riccardo under the advice of a friend and his unique style has literally bewitched us since the first photos of his work, definitely enne spanne above the others!!! Already from the first meeting we felt a certain feeling, some positive vibrations… But we didn’t think we’d be dealing with two wonderful people!!! Riccardo and Anna his wife are two professionals of indisputable caliber!!! We catapulted them into the deep south of Italy, in our beloved Calabria, because without doubt they were the ones who were chosen. During the photographic reportage they remain super concentrated and nothing escapes them, they are delicate and discreet, sometimes it seems that they are not there, but they have not missed the moments of fat laughter, because yes, they are also super nice … we remember with pleasure the moment of smoke bombs … ahhahahahah. We were expecting a good job obviously but when they gave us the album, we were amazed!!! They surprised us once again!!! We’ll never finish thanking you, you were FANTASTIC.
